Croft Institute for International Studies

The time is now to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Croft Institute for International Studies! In honor of this milestone, members of the University of Mississippi community are challenging you to make a difference in the lives of Crofties. Maximize your Giving Day impact by answering these challenges and help us unlock critical resources. Your gift – no matter the size – makes a difference.

The Croft Institute brings together outstanding students from Mississippi and beyond to immerse themselves in the intensive study of the languages, cultures and economies of the world. With your support, Croft trains global citizens prepared for future challenges and raises the profile of the state through global outreach.

On Giving Day, we especially invite you to support the Professor Emeritus Michael F. Metcalf Scholarship, which helps rising juniors or seniors at Croft experience the life-changing adventure of studying abroad. Dr. Metcalf was the first executive director of the Croft Institute, designed Croft’s innovative curriculum, and created the foundation for its graduates to embark on impactful global careers. Help us honor Dr. Metcalf’s legacy and 25 years of the Croft Institute with a gift to this scholarship fund today.
