Members of the UM community are challenging you to make a difference in the lives of Ole Miss Women’s Council scholars. Maximize your Giving Day impact by answering these challenges and helping us unlock critical resources. Your gift – no matter the size – makes a difference.

The Ole Miss Women’s Council for Philanthropy (OMWC) created an innovative scholarship-mentorship program – now among the largest on campus – that has a far greater impact on students’ lives than financial assistance alone. Women’s Council scholars have access to mentors, leadership training, life skills, travel and cultural opportunities that prepare them for successful careers. With your support, the Ole Miss Women’s Council scholars learn how to create a caring, more ethical world.

On Giving Day, the Women’s Council invites you to honor the life of an amazing young woman and OMWC scholar, the late Jen Bordelon. The Jennifer Lawrence Bordelon Leadership Fund will provide income for operating the leadership-mentorship aspect of the OMWC Scholarship program. Please pay tribute to her brilliant life by making your Giving Day gift to this fund.
