The D'Angelo Challenge for the Mississippi Excellence in Teaching Program
Brandi and David D'Angelo of Mandeville, Louisiana, are parents of a student in the Mississippi Excellence in Teaching Program and believe in the powerful impact METP is having on schools and classrooms in Mississippi. In combination with other parent supporters, they want to encourage others to give to METP so that it remains an lasting resource. When 10 people make a gift of any size to the METP fund, the D'Angelos will make a gift of $500.

Excellence in Education Challenge
An anonymous donor who earned her master's degree at the University of Mississippi School of Education supports UM's Excellence in Education Fund. This fund sponsors special projects and initiatives led by SOE faculty, staff, and students. She will give $500 once 25 gifts are made to the SOE's Excellence in Education Fund.

Best Challenge for the Bridge Program
Camp Best (MURP 1976, MA, 2009, MEd 2012) of Oxford, is a mentor and volunteer with the Bridge Program, which provides social and academic support to Ole Miss students with autism. Camp is passionate about making the transition to higher education smooth for these students, and hopes you will join him! When 25 people make a gift of any size to the Bridge program, Camp will give $250.

Challenge for the Mullins Family Awards Endowment
The Mullins Family Awards Endowment turns 25 this year! These awards have supported 25 years of young math teachers, principals, special education teachersand more! To celebrate, Andy Mullins (PhD 1992) of Oxford is challenging 25 people to make a gift to the Awards Endowment, created to honor his parents, Elaine and Ike Mullins, and members of his family. When 25 people make a gift, Andy will give $250.

Realtree Early Bird Special!
The academic unit or school that secures the most gifts between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. on April 8 will earn an additional $1,000, thanks to the generosity of Bill ( BBA 1973) and Shannon Jordan, and their son Tyler Jordan (BS 2016), founders of Realtree in Columbus, Georgia. Scott Challenge for the SOE Immediate Need Scholarship Fund
The School of Education Immediate Need Scholarship Fund provides academic support for students facing critical and unexpected financial hardships. Gary Scott (BAED 1974) of Roswell, Georgia, experienced a similar hardship in his final semester studying education and is passionate about helping others in similar circumstances! When 50 gifts of any size are made to this important fund, Mr. Scott will give $10,000.

The Martineau Challenge for the SOE Student Teaching Fund
David (BSGE 1992) and Ali Martineau of Austin, Texas, are passionate about supporting Ole Miss student teachers. To help cover the cost of travel to and from student teaching placements, the Martineuas have pledged to give $5,000 when 15 gifts are made to the School of Educaiton Student Teaching Fund. The Mississippi Teacher Corps recruits college graduates to teach in critical-need areas of Mississippi while they earn their master's degree from the University of Mississippi.
