Dr. Pick Scruggs (BA 1966) and Jody Scruggs (BA 1966) of Oxford were inspired to give to the College of Liberal Arts Scholarship Fund due to Dr. Scruggs' own experiences with financial hardship as a student. The CLA Scholarship Fund is used as an emergency fund for students in financial need. The Scruggs family will give $5,000 to the fund once 15 gifts are made. Risa and Sumner Spradling (BM 1975) of Browns Summit, North Carolina, have agreed to give $5,000 to support the purchase of a Steinway Spirio for the Department of Music. Their gift will be unlocked when 20 gifts have been made to the College of Liberal Arts Department of Music Steinway fund. Your gift gets us one step closer!

Virginia Wilson (BA 1979) of Memphis, Tennessee, has been a consistent supporter of the Ole Miss Mock Trial Association and undergraduate competition team and hopes others will be inspired to do the same. When 15 people make a gift to the Mock Trial Association, she has graciously agreed to make a gift of $5,000!

Ole Miss has one of the finest Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative Writing programs in the nation, fueled by a rich literary tradition and taught by professors who are award-winning and bestselling writers. An anonymous donor wants more students to have access to this amazing program and has pledged $5,000 to support scholarships for undergraduate creative writing students. Once 15 gifts are made to support these scholarships, this generous gift will be unlocked!
