Risa and Sumner Spradling (BM 1975) of Browns Summit, North Carolina, have agreed to give $5,000 to support the purchase of a Steinway Spirio for the Department of Music. Their gift will be unlocked when 20 gifts have been made to the College of Liberal Arts Department of Music Steinway fund. Your gift gets us one step closer!

Virginia Wilson (BA 1979) of Memphis, Tennessee, has been a consistent supporter of the Ole Miss Mock Trial Association and undergraduate competition team and hopes others will be inspired to do the same. When 15 people make a gift to the Mock Trial Association, she has graciously agreed to make a gift of $5,000!

Dr. Pick Scruggs (BA 1966) and Jody Scruggs (BA 1966) of Oxford were inspired to give to the College of Liberal Arts Scholarship Fund due to Dr. Scruggs' own experiences with financial hardship as a student. The CLA Scholarship Fund is used as an emergency fund for students in financial need. The Scruggs family will give $5,000 to the fund once 15 gifts are made. Wendy Garrison (PhD 1997), a former faculty member of the Biology Department, is honoring her late husband Richard Raspet (MS 1973, PhD 1975) by supporting a scholarship endowment established in his name. When 10 gifts are made to the Richard Raspet Memorial Scholarship Endowment, $3,500 is unlocked!

The members of Kappa Alpha Order are celebrating the memory of alumnus Col. Bobby Towery today. When 38 people make a gift to the Bobby Towery Final Mile Scholarship, which benefits Army ROTC cadets, Kappa Alpha will give $5,000 to the scholarship fund! Honor a hero and join this challenge now!
