The Earnestine Cooper McCain Challenge
In 1981, Mrs. Earnestine Cooper McCain of Batesville, Mississippi, earned her master’s degree in Education from the University of Mississippi. Mrs. McCain taught for 36 years, mostly in the North Panola School District. Of her 10 children, seven are Ole Miss alumni. She is also a proud grandmother, aunt, and mother-in-law to UM graduates. We are pleased to honor her lifelong commitment by supporting UM’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) efforts. The McCains will match every dollar donated to the Earnestine Cooper McCain challenge up to $1,981. Make your gift today and join us in supporting DEI efforts!
