The School of Engineering has cultivated a rich history and outstanding reputation for educating students in the chemical, electrical, mechanical, civil, biomedical, computer and geological disciplines.
Today, you can invest in scholarships, programming and faculty to help transform students’ lives and society. Support our engineers who are preparing to change the world through health, technology, innovation, space exploration and industrialization.
Remarkable opportunities are available for our students and faculty including:
- As NASA continues preparations for missions to Mars and beyond, a team of Ole Miss scientists is conducting research that may advance deep-space exploration for decades to come. The project is composed of synergistic, integrated, high-performance computing activities, including modeling, simulation, prediction and optimization of pure metal and alloy nanoparticle sintering.
- The Ole Miss chapter of Engineers without Borders recently traveled to the Ecuadorian highland community of 25 de Diciembre to complete the second phase of a water development project. The chapter made a five-year commitment to engineer projects the community needs, with the first being to increase the water supply to the community, its school and its health center.
High priority is placed on the Co-op Program, design teams and undergraduate research as opportunities for students to apply classroom knowledge to projects in a job, for competition and to generate new ideas in a lab. Students who take part in experiential education increase their marketability to employers and graduate schools.
Giving Day is the perfect time to plant a seed and watch it grow! Help the School of Engineering, as we dream bigger, work harder and give more. This is an all-hands-on-deck effort.
Please make a gift! Thank you!
