- Our strong library resources positively impact the quality of every student and faculty member’s experience on the Ole Miss campus. UM Libraries serve researchers from around the globe, sponsor programs and exhibits to broaden perspectives, and encourage lifelong learning.
- The Libraries boast 2.4 million volumes and support individuals in research, studying and learning.
- The Department of Archives and Special Collections houses one of the world’s finest collections of books, manuscripts and memorabilia devoted to William Faulkner. The Mississippi Collection contains more than 46,000 volumes and 700 manuscript collections of Mississippiana.
- Unique collections also featuring the world’s largest Blues Archive, the Civil Rights and Race Relations Collections, U.S. government publications since 1883 and the National Library of the Accounting Profession are all used by scholars around the globe.
- We have a range of study spaces including collaborative areas with technology, group study rooms and quiet study areas. Technology is available for in-house use or checkout, including a 3D printer. There are also specialized technology rooms, such as our STUDIOone, a video recording and editing studio.
