College of Liberal Arts
Together, We Can Support the College of Liberal Arts

The College of Liberal Arts is pleased to set the foundation for all degrees earned at the University of Mississippi and honored to touch the lives of every student who enrolls. We offer 35 undergraduate degrees, 32 graduate degrees and 52 minor fields of study in disciplines associated with the fine and performing arts, humanities, natural sciences, mathematics and social sciences.

Let’s work together to teach students to successfully navigate a complex, diverse and ever-changing world. This is the perfect time for you to support the College of Liberal Arts, where dynamic, innovative developments are happening:

  • Our Health Professions Advising Office has been named No. 3 in the nation by Science Times. Students who regularly engage with this office have a 78% acceptance rate into medical school and 91% acceptance rate into dental school.
  • More than 300 College of Liberal Arts faculty help our university maintain its ranking as a top research university, with faculty involved in Nobel Prize-winning discoveries and others as Grammy, Emmy, James Beard and Carnegie Medal awardees; New York Times bestselling authors; and a Mississippi Poet Laureate.
  • The College’s “10 in 3” plan (10 equity initiatives in 3 years) aims to foster inclusive excellence and open doors in all areas of the College of Liberal Arts. We are committed to creating more leadership, learning, and professional development opportunities for faculty, staff and students from underrepresented groups so that we can recruit and retain a thriving and diverse College community.  We are stronger together!
  • A new 7,000-square-foot film production complex with sound stages, editing suites and a sound recording studio supports our new film production degree. This program is unlike anything available in our region and will cultivate the next generation of filmmakers, storytellers and screen actors – right here on the Oxford campus!

Giving Day is the perfect time for us to work together to make a better tomorrow! Please partner with us as we dream bigger, work harder and advance our mission to innovate liberal arts education.

Please celebrate Giving Day by making a gift! Thank you!
