Our ambition at the School of Engineering at the University of Mississippi is to develop well-rounded engineers and computer scientists.
We help our students gain the technical expertise and leadership skills to excel. Our professors challenge and support them. Our co-op and internship program provide hands-on experience. Our student organizations promote educational, networking and community outreach opportunities. And, our research investigates the issues of the day.
To pursue our ambition, we need your help.
Excited about STEM
We want to encourage the engineers of the future. That could be through high school activities like engineering camps or our bridge program that prepares students who have been under-represented in engineering and computer science.
Skilling UP
Being a good engineer requires more than technical know-how. We are looking at ways to give our students the leadership and entrepreneurial skills critical for success. That could be through a series of courses, experiential learning or industry capstone programs.
Love your department
Many alumni feel the closest tie with their departments. Your assistance could help with a student scholarship or the equipment that makes the classroom or lab experience memorable.
Dean’s Fund
We can’t plan for everything, but this fund enables us to respond to last-minute needs. For example, that could be funding a student’s attendance at a conference or providing meeting support for a cross-campus collaboration.
On Giving Day, please support our engineers and computer scientists as they prepare to change the world.
We can prove that the University of Mississippi family is better together. Let’s all work as one to support the School of Engineering. Together, we can build a better future.
Please celebrate Giving Day by making a gift! Thank you!
